The Dream Team

Our Teamwork Makes Your Dream Work

Aaron Gottl

CEO, Recording Engineer, Videographer

Aaron founded Atlas Arts in 2015, under one basic principle: give artists access to professional media, without the costs of established studios. When he’s not running Atlas or recording, Aaron works as a freelance cellist, is on faculty at The People's Music School, and sits on the board of the Floating Opera Company. Aaron loves to ride his bicycle, compose and create sounds, hike, and is an amateur nature photographer.

Matt Peckham

Operations Manager, Recording Engineer

Matt started working at Atlas Arts Media in 2015 and slowly worked his way up from rolling cables to managing full recording projects. As a classically trained singer, he is right at home recording live performances, and he works hard to make the process fun and stress free for performers. When he’s not recording, Matt works as a freelance singer and actor, and helps manage the Chicago Vocal Arts Consortium (CVAC), a non-profit resource for local singers. Matt is an avid camper and backpacker, and makes time every year to balance city living with quality time in the wilderness.

Claire DiVizio

Marketing and Outreach, Recording Engineer

Claire joined Atlas in 2018, and quickly fell in love with the company and the work. Like Matt, Claire is also a classically-trained singer, and loves helping other singers sound and feel their best, both in the studio and in live performance. Outside of Atlas, Claire keeps busy as a freelance performer and director, the founder and Executive & Artistic Director of Thompson Street Opera Company, and voice teacher. When not involved in musical or theatrical pursuits Claire can be found cooking, baking, or generally covered in flour.

Shelby Blalock

Lead Engineer

Shelby Blalock is an audio engineer, composer, and pianist originally from Virginia. Trained in the renowned studios of Nashville, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering Technology and a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition from Belmont University. In 2012, she was recognized by the GRAMMY Foundation with her selection to study audio engineering in Los Angeles and New York at GRAMMY Camp. As an award-winning composer and classically trained pianist, she enjoys being able to use both her musical and technical expertise to help artists bring their vision to life.
